Exclusive: Agricultural Bank of China to Name Fu Wanjun as President

Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. (601288.SH), one of the country’s “Big Six” state-owned commercial lenders, will appoint president of China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. (601818.SH) as its new president, sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin on Monday.

Fu Wanjun, 54, will become president of the country’s, as well as the world’s, third-largest bank by assets after relevant administrative procedures are completed, the sources said.
