Gallery: China Sees 230 Million Trips During Labor Day Holiday

Travelers flooded China’s transportation hubs on Wednesday as the Labor Day holiday came to an end. The travel rush started on Tuesday, the fourth day of the holiday, bringing over 50 million passengers to railways, highways, waterways, and airports. China took special measures like running extra trains to cope with the situation. A total of 230 million domestic trips were made during the five-day holiday, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
