Birmingham: Fans slam Montero performance
Birmingham City bowed out of the FA Cup last night at the fifth round stage after a valiant display against Premier League side, and Midlands rivals, Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Few would have had the Blues down as favourites for their game with the Foxes, particularly with it away from home.
However, they have proven hard to beat in recent league games and they once again underlined that with a decent performance against a side looking good to make the Champions League for next season.
Indeed, there were plenty of individual performances that drew praise last night but one player that didn’t earn such plaudits was Jefferson Montero.
The winger struggled to make an impact during his time on the pitch and Blues fans weren’t too impressed with what they saw from him.
