According to The Daily Express‘ Ryan Taylor on Twitter, QPR are locking horns with Middlesbrough to sign Gray before the window closes.
Both clubs are believed to be ‘keen’ on sealing a loan move for the 30-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in 125 appearances for Watford.
The journalist tweeted: “#Birmingham & West Brom going head-to-head for Troy Deeney. He’s already in talks with Blues, who are frontrunners. Andre Gray could also leave before deadline as reported in last week’s column, #QPR & #Boro among those keen on loan.”
