Fulham: Cottagers ‘queue up’ to sign Aiden McGinlay

Fulham: Cottagers 'queue up' to sign Aiden McGinlay - Fulham News

Fulham are one of numerous clubs now queuing up to sign in-demand Partick Thistle ‘sensation’ Aiden McGinlay, according to reports.

The Lowdown: Fulham impressing…

Marco Silva’s side have enjoyed a solid start to life back in the Premier League after their promotion from England’s second tier last season.

The Craven Cottage outfit haven’t exactly enjoyed the best luck in recent years when it comes to maintaining their top-flight status, but this time they have got off the blocks fantastically.

Fulham currently sit just four points off a Europa League place, losing only four out of their opening 13 league games, with Liverpool being the only team to score more goals than them outside the current top four.

It has been a dream start for Silva and his side who now look a shoe-in to remain in the first tier and establish themselves as a Premier League side for next year.

The Latest: Fulham scout McGinlay…

Amid their rise up the table, Fulham officials reportedly have one eye on the future and how best to maintain their growth as a football club.

According to The Daily Record, Silva’s men are now in the ‘queue’ to sign Thistle starlet McGinlay, with Fulham officials even dispatched to scout him.

Alongside the Cottagers, London top-flight rivlas Crystal Palace and West Ham are also keeping tabs on the ‘teenage sensation’.

The Verdict: Planning ahead…

Under the ownership of Shahid and Tony Khan, Fulham have yo-yoed from the top tier to the second these last few years, but this season could be the start of some real stability at Craven Cottage.

Planning for the future and keeping tabs on some of Britain’s brightest talents is a real indicator that plans are in motion behind the scenes to try and establish Fulham as Premier League mainstays.
