Taking to Twitter, the reporter now claims Gabriel is having a medical in Brazil ahead of his proposed move to Forest.
He explained:

Gabriel comes as a player with huge potential and the Brazilian would add both flair and longevity to an already big squad lead by Cooper.
The 18-year-old has already made over 100 appearances for Santos at such a young age and may well be regarded as a real talent from the South American continent.
Champions League chasers Newcastle have also been linked in the past with Gabriel, owing to his glowing reputation, but all signs from this report point towards Forest being firmly in pole position.
