‘Big Six’ Bank Executive Looks Set to Become Everbright Bank’s New President

An official at one of China’s “Big Six” state-owned commercial banks will likely take the helm as president of China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. (601818.SH) (中国光大银行股份有限公司), sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin.
Hao Cheng, an executive vice president of Bank of Communications Co. Ltd. (BOCOM) (601328.SH) (交通银行股份有限公司), has been announced as a member of the Communist Party committee of state-owned financial conglomerate China Everbright Group Ltd., which controls Everbright Bank, according to the parent’s website.
